JSO Digital built a new content site to 387,352 monthly visits using content and SEO. Organic traffic increased 1,250% year over year.
We built this site as part of an in-house content experiment. The goal was to create best in class content for a niche subject that would encourage engagement and community. The sole focus was on scaling our in-house content process achieve “institutional” levels of traffic.
We adopted an “expertise first” approach aimed at recruiting subject matter experts and packaging their insights into web pages that are the most valuable for users. Excellent site speed and a “spoke and wheel” content structure were top priorities to further enhance the accessibility of our content.
We’re off to a good start. In about a year and a half, we grew the site from less than 10,000 monthly visitors to almost 400,000 with zero dollars spent on advertising.
