Goals
A consumer law firm asked JSO Digital to take over their local SEO, organic SEO, and content strategy starting in July of 2013. The goal was to increase visibility for branch offices in local search, and to transform the website into an informational hub that would generate increased phone calls and contact form submissions.
Approach
The JSO Digital team audited the entirety of the law firm’s local search profile, organizing and optimizing citation sources for each office. We then turned our attention to an ethical, white hat link building process, in order to increase the authority of the firm’s website. Our development team built a Q&A feature on the website so potential clients could submit questions the firm could answer publicly on site. This helped create user generated content. JSO then created a content strategy, editorial calendar, and web content based on keyword terms relevant to the firm’s core business that would drive calls.
Results
JSO increased traffic from organic search by over 500% year over year, and the firm’s website generated 2,503 goal completions (defined as phone calls, contact form submissions, and live chat leads) in 2014.
